Warner Bros. International has released three brand new images from the Platinum Dunes remake of A Nightmare on Elm Street (trailer) that feature Jackie Earle Haley as your new Freddy Krueger, Kyle Gallner and Rooney Mara. Below you'll find the three images, while Omelete has also posted the following International synopsis: "Freddy Krueger (Jackie Earle Haley) returns in “A Nightmare on Elm Street”, a contemporary re-imagining of the horror classic. A group of suburban teenagers share one common bond: they are all being stalked by Freddy Krueger, a horribly disfigured killer who hunts them in their dreams. As long as they stay awake, they can protect one another…but when they sleep, there is no escape." Directed by Samuel Bayer, the reboot will arrive in theaters April 30, 2010. Talk about the new photos below.

Check out hi-res versions over at Omelete.

ya know i was just thinking to myself, the horror news has been really slow lately ever since the NOES trailer premiered and the topic that really interests me is news about NOES remake. well i guess BD & PD were thinking the same thing, so they pulled a couple images from the trailer to keep people interested. coincedence that Platinum Dunes and BD share a website??? i think not.

I like how Platinum Douche hasn't updated their blog in a while. I think they know that the majority of their ticket sales come from teens and young adults who have no taste, and not real horror fans like us. This movie is going to be horrible.

Yeah... pretty sure these are just three watermarked screencaps from the trailer. The best part of this movie by far will be JEH as Freddy.

These are not new pics and everyone but the blind supporters knows that this is going to be a piece of shit. Also for the record i know how bad the next friday the 13th sequel is going to suck ass too! And yes i know they don't have a script for it yet, but it's looking bad already for it! Those dick heads at PD don't know how to do anything right, they don't even listen to the fans at all. After these two go down in flames, can we please just go back to the original series and atleast finish them both off the right way.

His 'head looks too big'? What are you fucking shitting me? lol 'Oh sorry Mr Krueger you cant kill me today, I don't like the dimensions of your cranium.' Christ almighty. lol.

Well all of those shots come from the trailer so they're hardly new. This looks very flashy and slick, but I spose you get that when you hire a music video director. I really don't have much hope for this.

From the fucking trailer. Waste of fucking time! And JEH does have a big head...
