Ok so I think it visually looks real good. The only thing that is worrying me from the trailer is it looks kinda like what they did with friday 13th and just took the first few movies key scenes and grouped it into one movie. I hope thats not the case either way Im still seeing it forsure.

Wait after watching it again, everything's awesome, but if you pause on Frddy's face it looks like shit. It looks CGI and really stupid. His voice is a little weird too, although I think I like it...

looks pretty good. the freddy voice is going to take some getting used to. same with the make-up. looked like a cross of freddy meets that harry potter villan

Something about Freddy is much more visceral and menacing. The new look for his face is actually kinda terrifying. He actually looks like some kind of demon/monster now. Before, he looked like a human who was the victim of burning. Now, he doesn't even look human. As for the voice, I'm going to have to hear it a bit more. I'm just so used to Englund's voice that a new take feels odd. However, I think after a few more views, I'll be okay with it.

ZOMG OMG NOWAIZ!!11!!!!1! Seriously though, wasn't all that impressive to me. It's kind of dumb they've seemed to copy and paste scenes from the original. And I didn't much like Jackie's voice for Freddy. I get the feeling he won't even come close to Englund's amazing portrayal. Who knows though? Could be alright.

looks good to me, Freddy's makeup definitely looks different but this movie looks sweet

It is gonna take a minute to get used to his voice the look everything. We all have this image and voice in our heads. That being said I really like the fact Jackie is not trying to copy Robert, he's doing his own thing with it. I think once we see more on it and the final in theaters I think it's all gonna play together well. Just think at first how hard it was to wrap your head around the look of Heath Ledger as the Joker after having Jack in your head for almost twenty years. I have faith.

Looks very promising! The new Freddy is scary again...very reminiscent of Robert Englund in Wes Craven's original film!

photography looks great, and that opening is something I've tried to visualize from my imagination from years of nightmare, views. phantasmagoria is right, the voice might need some getting used to, but the makeup look REALISTIC. burn victims features usually melt away, in that vein of the creatures from THE DESCENT. Looks really good. I'm very interested in seeing how the dream sequences will play out!!!
