odd, very odd choice for a remake. but I did like the original, so I guess we'll see....

I expect this will be watered down, but it's good to see Rod Eastman back in the horror game.

Yet again another classic that should be left alone and not remade. There will be too much political correctness in the remake so it can be sold to a younger audience to make more money no doubt. Come on can you really see a film being allowed to have a mentally retarded man commit rape and allow him to be murdered. Gone are the days where directors didn't care how far they went with a film because of stupid ratings and selling out to the tw*tlight generations. Camille's performance in it was fantastic and personally don't think it could ever be matched or topped.

I spit on your inability to make your own goddamn movies, hollywood. Piss the fuck off. Movies like Suspiria, I Spit On Your Grave, Last House, etc... do not need to be touched; they are perfect the way they are. (aka: Day of the Incredibly Fucking Agitated Horror Fan).

If this goes PG-13, I will bail immediately. And for some reason, even if it does go rated R, it still won't be as good as the original. Instead of intense, bloody, hard-to-watch scenes, am most likely going to see a bunch of cursing and barely any nudity. And lay off of The Last House On the Left, that was a good remake for your information. One of the few good ones. But I don't know about Suspiria. I just don't think this will live up to the orig. I see watered down, poorly written, and poorly conceived trash.

the first one was so brutal. there is no way they can get away with what the first one brought us. i couldnt even make it past the penis removal in bath tub scene. uber DARK!

I personally think this does not need to be remade- But just like every other movie in hollywood, we have no choice. I`m interested to see how it may turn out.

I watched the original for the first time about two weeks ago and loved it. A remake could be interesting if they think up different ways for her to get her revenge.

that jus couldn't work out! the movie is great. not even last house on the left live up to the name of the craven's classic! i just don't like remakes, hollywood is going to fucked up the movie! people is getting used to classics being remade!, we need good original stories, always inspired by 70's or 80's classics!

Whoever thinks the Last House On The Left remake was good has either NEVER seen the original or is an idiot. Remakes are for people who cannot write or direct their own work and for people who refuse to watch the original film because it is too much for them or they cannot get past the date the film was made. I have heard people bitch about how "old" a film looks rather than how the film is itself and tout that reason as to why they prefer the remake. Remakes are for losers...period. Get out of the film business if you honestly cannot make an original title of your own design. Leave OUR classics alone. And to remake I Spit On Your Grave? What's next? A PG-13 version of Cannibal Holocaust? Oh wait, they already did that. Blair Witch. Cannibal Holocaust without the cannibals.

I also am interested in what they will do with this. I liked the original, we'll see.
