Nelson McCormick's The Stepfather, Sony Screen Gems' remake of the classic 80's movie starring Terry O'Quinn, is now in theaters everywhere. The movie wasn't screened for critics, so we won't have a review until later this afternoon. Until we can bring you our thoughts, why don't you guys write your own review and tell all of Bloody Disgusting what YOU thought. It's your opinion that really counts in the end, right? In the film Michael Harding (Penn Badgley) returns home from military school to find his mother (Sela Ward) happily in love and living with her new boyfriend, David (Dylan Walsh). As the two men get to know each other, Michael becomes more and more suspicious of the man who is always there with a helpful hand. Is he really the man of her dreams or could David be hiding a dark side?
i wish these would stop too twistedfate. thats one reason y i dont go to the movies bc of pointless remakes that are pg13 and that star peoplw who cant act worth crap.....anywhoo i am still not seeing this pointless remake.
I hadn't seen the original or its sequel in a longgg time. So I just bought them both, and sorry people, the movies are dull and pretty much bloodless. I won't be seeing the remake, but this is nothing to get worked up over as the original needs to stay in the nostalgia closet.
