Only weeks away from release, Warner Bros. Pictures is finally pushing out their release of Dominica Sen's Whiteout, the live action comic book adaptation starring Kate Beckinsale, Gabriel Macht, Tom Skerritt, Columbus Short, Alex O'Loughlin. The film has been teased for over two years now and it looks like we'll finally be seeing it in less than a month. In the pic Carrie Stetko, the lone U.S. Marshal assigned to Antarctica, is investigating the continent's first murder, which draws her into a shocking mystery. Now, with only three days until winter, Carrie must solve the crime before Antarctica is plunged into darkness and she is stranded with the killer.
Dig the poster, although the snow effect is a bit lost - probably would have been better to really wash out the photo with some of that same effect around the edges. The film looks killer and I can't wait for this!
If I had to choose between this and Sorority Row, I would choose this.. Because I am sick of seeing should-be-models instead of actors (besides Rumor) getting killed off.. I like a good cat and mouse horror movie... But I guess the horror genre is falling down.. As well as the horror fans...
It kinda reminds you of the poster for Underworld: Evolution.
