After years of waiting, two Comic Con's later, Warner Bros. is finally prepping to release Whiteout on September 11. Beyond the break you'll find the brand new trailer for Dominica Sen's film that stars Kate Beckinsale, Gabriel Macht, Tom Skerritt, Columbus Short and Alex O'Loughlin. Carrie Stetko, the lone U.S. Marshal assigned to Antarctica, is investigating the continent's first murder, which draws her into a shocking mystery. Now, with only three days until winter, Carrie must solve the crime before Antarctica is plunged into darkness and she is stranded with the killer.
None of those characters have the personalities required to make the trip out there, let alone work out there. Maybe they could have actually talked to someone who'd been to Anarctica. Even just someone who had seen it on a map once...

i think the trailer is really bad. i have no idea what its about acutally. only that there are people in the antarctic and there seems to be some kind of scientific project going on and then everyone is killed by i dont know whom and kate beckinsale is looking pretty and running around

Whiteout looks like it has some potential and looks pretty original. Hopefully it'll be a decent thriller. Plus Kate Beckinsale adds some eye candy. Doubt it'll be worth it to see in theaters.
