Very Nice...But for real, I'm still suprised that there isn't any Leaked footage yet... Oh well, at least this is something...I always get excited for any new ANOES news, that i tend not to care about any other Horror Movie at the moment ;p....Well, The Horde and Rec 2 does look pretty cool

the poster makes me think that the "jokester" freddy will not be coming back in the future. that's kind of okay, but i'll miss the jokes.

even though i like Jackie Earle Haley, i think this is turn out just like the FRIDAY THE 13TH re-boot.

They totaly messed up the Score for the FT13th Remake...It felt and sounded like 'nothing' from a FT13th movie...Yet I did like the intro tune, but the rest sucked. Now I'm all for electronic scores and so on...It can make movies so effective...The first Resident Evil is a great example, along with High Tension and Inside(it had it at times, it sounded like Goblin), but it doesn't suit FT13th AT ALL, not to mention the lame current pop/rap crap they used as well...Now what i loved about the original ANOES movie was also the killer soundtrack. The electronic score was fantastic, hopefully they do the same for this one as well...But I have a weird feeling they wont use ANY of the tunes in the original. On another note, Freddy's new Glove looks fantastic, I love how the plate has been replaced by long extensions and how you can see the whelding on the metal blade attachments, at least the claw looks better than any ANOES before it imo

not impressed, never will be since it's a remake especially without Englund. I'll have to see how the reviews go first after it comes out.

Yeah this will definitely not be like a real Nightmare on Elm Street film without the true Freddy Krueger, Robert Englund in it.

lol wow...How many close minded people are on here? arent you at least excited and curious to see how Jackie does? Try thinking outside the box, it might actually help for once, holy crap. It's not like they casted Billy Bob thorten...Because if they did, than you'd have every reason to complain. As for Englund is too old(Big suprise!), get over it, he will always be Kruger, but lets just see how Jackie does and then judge. So anyways, get over it..Englund isn't it. anyways.

i can't wait to see how he does. just hearing his one line at the end of that audio sample got me psyched!

I've read (at least a draft of the script), and it looks to be slightly more original than the 13th reboot we suffered through earlier this year. Jackie Earle Halie is going to rock the role as Krueger, regardless of the rest of the cast, haha.

I LOVE These New HI-RES Versions ! I Made Sets for Another Forum Using Them, and Made a Custom Profile Using Them too :) I Am looking forward to the Remake. I AGREE no one can REPLACE * Englund * as Krueger, but I think * Haley* will do an AMAZING Job Filling the Spingwood Slasher's Shoes .

I thought the goofiness of the f13 remake worked since, well, the f13 movies are traditionally a bit goofy. i reeeeally hope that the tongue-in-cheek feel for this one though--especially if they're trying to make freddy "scarier." and, while i love englund, it's kind of cool that freddy's being portrayed by an academy award-nominated actor. no?

I'll go as far to say Jackie will make you all forget about Robert Englund. If I am wrong, I will apologize and ask Robert for forgiveness,but I think I'll be safe on this one.
