Some crazy, crazy news this evening as the LA Times is calling out Variety and Deadline Hollywood for posting false news that Juan Antonio Bayona (The Orphange) has been tapped to direct The Twilight Saga's Eclipse for Summit Entertainment. According to Erik Feig, who’s president of production at Summit, there is still no director attached. "We’ve met with three or four talented filmmakers and we’ll be meeting with three or four more other candidates before we make any decision. No one has been offered the job." seriously now, if you guys head on over to dreadcentral.com, you will only see 1 article for twilight. i prefer my horror websites to cover horror news myself, unlike mtv.com over here. honestly, have you guys noticed how much attention is paid to the tweener crowd up in here. lame. so go to dreadcentral.com for real horror news. fuck these tweener loving pussys.

i mean for fuck sake. not even arrow in the head is covering all the tweener shit "bloody disgusting" covers. go ahead and take a look. i dare you. arrow in the head is another true horror website.

ok. upon further investigating, you can add shock til you drop.com on the list of true horror websites which report on actual horror news. so of the four big horror websites i know of, there maybe more, only "bloody disgusting" covers "news" for the tweener crowd. by the way, i was forced to see twilight with my little girl, it was pretty horrible. when everyone else laughed in the audience, i didnt. when i laughed at the horribleness of twilight, no one laughed with me. if i was a sixteen year old girl, i could see how twilight would be great. but i have the intelligence of a grown ass man, so fuck twilight.

Given I think Eclipse was the only decent book in the series, I hope it gets a director/producer that knows how to make a good myth filled film. Eclipse got into the werewolf theme and could break new ground for that genre. And remember when doing a film for the teen audience it always means money for doing future films you really want to do.
