this movie looks pretty danged good, if the trailer is any idication!

The movie won't be out for another 6 months, and already they're planning a sequel? I mean, the movie looks pretty good, but that's a bit rushed that there's already sequel talk. Hope they aren't expecting the film to make lots of money, because I doubt it'll be able to make more than $30-$40 million (summer horror movies rarely perform well among the big blockbusters, although The Strangers was a rare exception).

I saw the trailer and I'm pretty sure it showed everything that was close to being good. Yet another dull and typical seen it before haunting feature. I don't see much point for a sequel to a movie I won't see.

the first movie looks really good to begin with... i do not think a sequel should ever be talked about until after the first has come out though...

so this is a wanna be amityville horror, but its pg-13. yeah for watered down horror! i mean look at all the cool imagery in the trailer. you know there is a hell of a lot more scary shit like that in the movie. no wait, usually they show you everything in the trailer. remember the unborn trailer?

I saw the promo for the first one on the Repo! DVD and thought it looked pretty cool.

For the record, your story is incorrect. While Gold Circle Films have long been active in the horror genre and are actively pursuing development of any number of haunting-themed projects, we have no plans for a sequel to The Haunting In Connecticut. Though the movie is indeed terrific!
