Who Will Be Returning in Rob Zombie's 'Halloween' Sequel?

We've actually been hearing about Zombie's return to Haddonfield for a few weeks now, and something that has become quite clear to us is that Zombie intends on bringing back a few names from his 2007 remake of HALLOWEEN. From our sources close to the project, expect to see the return of Scout Taylor-Compton as Laurie Strode, Tyler Mane as Michael Myers, Malcolm McDowell as Dr. Sam Loomis, Daeg Faerch as young Michael Myers and of course Sheri Moon Zombie as Deborah Meyers. Nothing is set in stone as the script is currently being written, but we'll have the official news when anything is officially announced. Rob Zombie's H2 picks up right as the first remake ended, following the aftermath of Michael Myers' murderous rampage through the eyes of the sister he hunted. Rob Zombie has achieved more than any of the people that are bashing him and his films.

"Daeg Faerch as young Michael Myers and of course Sheri Moon Zombie as Deborah Meyers."? So we're going back and forth in time in this sequel? Anyway, I'm all in for a Halloween 2. I'm one of few that actually enjoyed Zombie's remake.

Oh, and I'm digging that they're picking up the sequel right after the first ended like the original Halloween II did. It's one of my all-time favorite slasher sequels.

apk420kane, what's your point? I mean, if anything at all, even Uwe Boll has achieved more than most of us, as well, including you. And yeah, Scream110, what's with going back and forth again? Didn't Zombie do it enough in the first movie? I mean, this one should be a straight up horror movie, without the whole recollection thing.

I'm actually looking forward to this movie. I was a huge Zombie supporter before the movie came out, until I actually walked out of the theatre when I saw it that opening day. After watching the workprint, I became a little more enthusiastic and hoped for a sequal. I loved Tyler Mane, he was really good. 2nd best in my opinion out of all the Shape's in the past. My only request. KILL LAURIE STRODE quick!!!!!! I LOATHE SCOUT TAYLOR COMPTON!!!!!!!!!! face

hmm, if sheri and daeg are coming back, i guess it will be one of those back and forth things. i hope danielle harris comes back as well since annie brackett survived in the remake

I can't wait for H2. I really loved the first one, and with Zombie returning, I can't wait to see what direction he takes the story.

If they kill Scout Taylor Compton, they should bring back Danielle Harris. I need someone cute to distract me from this awful movie.

The only character out of the girls that i liked was Lindsey Wallace. She is the only one that displayed any talent. Daniell Harris is washed up, and tired. I still want to fuck her though. face

Please, don't let them have flashbacks. I just don't feel for them in horror movies. Just let Dr. Loomis and Deborah Meyers stay off screen and just continue the storyline.

Screamer

And Lindsey Wallace I thought blew in the remake. I liked the remake's version of Annie of the three girls and that is about it.

Pleatherface31
3:18pm, December 16, 2008

The three girls had horrible dialogue. The thing that made it work in the original was the fact that Deborah Hill wrote their parts. I think Zombie wrote for the three skanks in the remake and it didn't seem real. "Hey, my Daddy's the fucking sheriff." FUCK YOU JAMIE LLOYD

Flashbacks, eh? Great. Seeing as how that device worked out so well for Silent Night, Deadly Night 2 and all.

please, no flashbacks . Just continue with the story for fucks sake !!!

magnaderalpha: My point is that all you people calling Rob Zombie a Talentless Hack are retards. What have you people done that makes you so much better than him? What movies, albums, ect. have any of us produced that are so much more accomplished than his?

Alright, I'm going to hold off bitching for a bit, and go watch the unrated director's cut again, and try to reconsider it. Maybe I'll feel a little differently this time. Maybe.

This movie is gonna be great like the first and fans should be glad that zombie is doing this or we wouldn't see a other Halloween movie for years.

We better see Danielle Harris' name here soon...

I've got to say to all the people who like zombie and his movies, just because its popular doest mean its good.

Ok the return of Daeg Faerch as young Michael Myers and of course Sheri Moon Zombie as Deborah Meyers would SUCK in my opinion Michael is grown and Deborah is DEAD no freaking flash back crap. I am looking forward to Malcome, Scout, and Tyler being back and I HOPE Danille Harris is back as well even in a cameo and then in H3 she comes back as a main character w/ Laurie. I still think Rob should just direct the film and Deminsion Films should have went w/ a script that a guy named Scott Lewis sent into them. I have a copy and it is pretty freaking good in my opinion. Oh well, either way I'll be in the ticket line October 2009 for Halloween 2. The guy who sent in his script is offering to send a copy or e-mail a copmy of his script out to a select number of people (obviously this script IS copywritten). www.myspace.com/newhalloween2 is the place to talk to him about it.

I agree, brandons. We got enough of the flashbacks in the remake. Of course, what would he do if he couldn't put his no-talent wife into another of his films? I liked the Halloween remake, but the writing was awful and I'm not sure Zombie should be doing anything more than directing.

Rob shouldn't show anymore flashbacks. Michaels story was covered in the remake. Rob has to give a reasonable explantion of how michael survived. I think an ambulence picked up annie. If thats the case. Then rob has to show the hospital in some capacity. It would only make sense to do so. Especially when she survived michael.

Questions for Rob Zombie: So are you going to go back on your word with this film as you did with the first over an over again - no res-hoots, no alternate endings, no sequel - yet you did all three!!!! Also what white trash direction will you be taking this sequel?? Will Laurie, due to her traumatic experiences, become a stripper and pregnant teen? Will she become a catatonic killing machine that can't make up her mind if she is pure evil or made that way due to her upbringing? Will a white trash family find themselves living in an upper middle class neighborhood with no logical means to support themselves yet just ignore that fact??? Will Sheri Moon be playing a twin sister to Deborah and aunt to Laurie (you have to get your wife in there somehow)?? Will you cast anyone who can act their way out of a paper bag? Will Tommy & Lindsay make an appearance as they gave the best performances in the first film (I am being dead serious with this one - so yes a compliment and backhand at the same time because it was probably an accident they acted so well) Will you give Danielle Harris more to do besides saying "Fuck me", "Hey Bitches", and being topless - this girl actually can act??? Will you kill Michael again only to return in the lamely titled H3??? And most importantly - will you let someone else write the fucking thing???

No more young Michael Myers!!! Enough with it!! we had almost half of the first film on his fucked up childhood..We all know why he became such a Psychopath...Lets get going with him trying to get his sister and more slashing teenagers!!!!!!!!!

Jonny Horror

Scout, Malcolm and Tyler are obvious. Sherrie killed herself and Michael is no longer a boy, so unless it's flashbacks, they have no purpose. The speculation begins, this is gonna fun.
