Not impressed. Should have used the teaser logo...

I don't like the red-orange coloring, and I think the image of the mask should've been larger. Hopefully a better poster is released soon...

i agree w/ PromNight2008. i really dislike the coloring to this, but it IS the same thing overall. go back to the more yellow-ish white. or better yet give us a NEW one sheet for the movie. i'd LOVE it if they did an updated version of the original's artwork (with the silhouette of the killer holding the knife or the 2nd part w/ the killer holding the axe).

Shitty logo. I agree, they should have used the one from the teaser-trailer. djblack: You were thinking the same as me, that an update of one of the original one-sheets would have been very cool.

I liked the original poster so I see no reason not to like this one. The title treatment could be a bit bigger and bolder. The logo in the teaser could have worked well on this though.

bodypuzzle, i was having that trouble too. i had to close out the screen entirely then go into it again.

this is TOO yellowy-orangy like the TCM remake. no surprise i know! LOL.

I am using a vacation day on Febuary 13th just so I can goto the very first showing. This movie better be worth it but even if it sucks I still get a 3 day weekend.

I'm actually starting to lose some intrest in this movie. We arent getting anything big on the movie to keep me interested.... I don't really care for this Logo either but it could be worse. I wouldn't mind a one sheet of Jason running w/ the Machette raised up and FRIDAY THE 13th logo under him in the right hand corner.

I don't understand it. The logo they use in the teaser trailer is also on their website...so, that makes me think that it is their main logo. Which I think is an awesome logo, but then they use this? I don't know where they are coming from there.

It should just be a pic of Jason's lil' baby pecker. I've been waiting to see that for like 20 years now, wtf?

JAKE VOORHEES has it right. They should have used the old school logo from the original. In fact, I'm holding the original VHS tape copy cover and it's awesome. It has the outline of the killer holding a bloody knife with the woods, counselors and cabin on the inside of the killers image. The FRIDAY THE 13th logo above and the 13 is bloody. To bad they could not incorporate the old with the new. The new logo to me is just ok, a little generic. Jason's mask has been on so many sequel poster's that it kind of loses it's edge.

Yeah, this poster looks more up to how Marcus Nispel's movies look, TOO YELLOW! Marcus loves making movies that are tinted too yellow or too blue, cause it's "edgey" and "hip". Very MTV-ish, like 90 minute music videos for Korn. And that's cool for the youngsters, with their rock and their roll...

I like the poster. djblack, I said the same thing when I first heard of this remake. The original posters of 1 and 2 were the best. I love the new logo on the teaser and also agree it should be on the new poster. Xtiand, before you refer to this as a shitty remake, why don't you reserve judgement until after you've actually seen it? Have you seen the teaser trailer? It looks promising.

and this is updated????? to me this looks like the same poster basically from that comic convention......i agree jake vorhees and 2coolleatherface.....should have like a machette and blood or something.....not just the hockeymask (even though wasnt jason goes to hell just the hockeymask with half of his disfigured face on it and fire in the backround?) and wow great tagline not......oh well ill still see it bc loved the last teaser trailor that seen on here.
