This past weekend we caught an early look at the poster for Lionsgate's My Bloody Valentine, but when we tried to get a hi-res look, we were told the MPAA rejected the poster just like they did the HOSTEL: PART II teaser a year earlier. Empire scored a look, check it out inside. In the remake Tom (Jensen Ackles) returns to his hometown on the tenth anniversary of the Valentine's night massacre that claimed the life of 22 people. Instead of a homecoming, Tom finds himself suspected of committing the murders. Directed by Patrick Lussier, the film arrives in theaters January 16th, 2009 in 3-D... I just bought the poster for the original a few months ago. A fav in my collection.
Hopefully the remake is half as good as the that.

I'm a huge fan of 70's/80's horror but I found the original to be pretty boring (killer was cool but he was hardly in it!). That is why I believe this is the perfect remake material! The story sounds like they're taking it in a new direction so that will be cool too.
Cool poster! I usualy hate remakes but i'm looking forward to this one. I like the original but it's a real shame the un-cut version hasn't been released...maybe we'll get to see more gore in this
i emailed the folks at Lionsgate about whether or not we'd be able to purchase this poster since it's been rejected (they returned an email on my initial inquiry on buying the poster PRIOR to the MPAA rejection). if i hear anything back i'll post the info here. i LOVE this poster!! and the movie is one of my top movies i'm excited to see.
Very cool. The 3D is a little big in my opinion, but overall it looks good and reminds me of the original. Let's hope they don't screw it up. Harry Warden does not need a major makeover, just an updated feel.
i like it because it looks just like the original, obviously they did a couple of changes but its goin to be really good to see this classic on screen again.
Kennreaper666, i read online somewhere that it's going to be the brand new 3D. the kind that James Cameron's AVATAR will be (and i assume Journey to the Center of the Earth.). the goggles kind of 3D.
Excellent poster, looks as though someone has been gutted and smeared all over it , too bad its been rejected but we will get to see it again, the hostel 2 original poster was everywhere after it was banned.MBV is perfect remake material , the original is good but not fantastic so hopefully this will rock.
