Up until now it was unclear exactly what New Line Cinema and Warner Bros. Pictures would be showing from Friday the 13th at this week's San Diego Comic Con. We received official confirmation that what will be shown Sunday is a two-minute clip that includes one scene and a montage of footage from the remake, which will bring Jason Voorhees back to the big screen on February 13, 2009. There will be no trailer or teaser shown, but hey, at least we got something to look forward too! Click here for all ongoing Comic Con coverage.
EXCELLENT! i'm psyched again. i'll take "a two-minute clip that includes one scene and a montage of footage from the remake" over a teaser any day. i hope WE'LL be able to see (online soon) it and not JUST the people at the SDCC.
Actually, this is much better than a trailer. We would not have seen an actual trailer here, it would have been a teaser. Now we get to see actual clips and maybe some of Jason in action.
Isn't that really stupid that we get no trailer. So when New Line Cinema wants to advertise their film where is the footage they use? This is really pathetic.
come on! stupid platinum dunes messin with us. this better be good....ya better than nothing ig ues.......i wonder if this film does really great at the box office/or bombs if they will try and do a sequel to it....wonder if they would do freddy vs jason 2....i guess only time will tell feb.13...09
