As promised, Rob Zombie posted some new art from his upcoming project, Tyrannosaurus Rex, which Dimension Films has slated for release on August 28, 2009. The image inside was designed by Alex Horley (Spookshow International), whom also gave us all the first look at the film here two weeks back. Read on for a peak.

I respect those of you with opinions that are actually put forth logically and well written, but the "OMG HOO CAREZ" type of response is just fucking lame. If people didn't care, BD wouldn't be reporting it. Moreover, people wouldn't be spending their hard-earned cash on Rob Zombie's theatre showings, DVDs, CDs, figures, comic books, etc.
Not to mention, the fact that people like you decide to go out of their way to add responses as such shows that you care just enough to do so. Your question has been answered.

As far as the new art goes, i dont know... sorta like me and all of rob zombies movies...i always end up givin them a shot and for the most part they have at least been worth my time. Boxers, t-rexs...dont know how they link but im sure zombie does.
I don't really know if I'm excited about this. Devil Rejects was great and Halloween was cool but IDK, Isen't this movie supposed to be not horror? But from that pic it looks like horror to me.

DeigOmen16...... 4 words STFU there hasn't been any actual footage or stills from the actual movie only these Concept arts which are highly detailed and well done I'm not sure wtf your smoking when your calling something you haven't actually seen in action work it's like saying that the new Two-Face in The Dark Knight(which has been confirmed as the cliff hanger for this movie and not much of a spoiler "harvey dent turns into two=face") will suck even thought you have seen Aaron Eckhart do anything but a few lines

Devil Rejects wasn't house of a thousand corpses 2 it was a pseudo sequel kind of like the justice league and Justice league unlimited was a pseudo sequel to the 90's batman and superman animated series. there always room for Zombie to go back inbetween the events of House of 1000 Corpses and Devil's Rejects and fill in the gap with a House of 1000 corpses 2
AKA he didn't switch gears he just said screw it and went with a different story all together and in other words at any time he wants he can make House 2 and put doctor satan and the professor in there
I'm getting really sick and tired of the Zombie bashing by a bunch of internet fanboys who'd rather pay money to go see the teenie bopper remakes and then come complain how they're so sick of them. Don't like what Zombie's doing? Make a better movie. By all means. Some of us like his stuff. He's done more to further the genre than you have.
People....please don't fight because you like Rob Zombie or not, this fight will turn into, like, the what? 80 comment fight weather you like him or not. And I did loved Rob Zombies Halloween, what if this is the next big thing he has done
People get so pissed off about Rob Zombie because he ruined a classic movie. I'm not surprised that any news about the guy brings out a lot of anger. Personally, I've always thought he was a hack. I'm guessing his main character is going to be another foul mouthed hillbilly doing something that no one cares about. Sheri Moon will bring her god awful acting into the picture as always and another steaming pile of shit will make it's way to the theatre. That's why people hate that douchebag, he made so much money making shitty music that now he get's to make a movie whenever he wants.

Actually Kaname, Devil's Rejects was as much of a direct sequel as you can get. You apparently need to go back and re-watch the two movies back to back. Though very different in style, the Devil's Rejects did indeed pick up at the same house, after the same carnage, and while the same Firefly family was trying to escape. There's nothing "pseudo" about it.
Kaname if want look cool and insult me, KNOW WHAT THE FUCK YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT DIP SHIT! devils rejects was a direct seqeul, why else would the fathers brother of one of the girls from the first movie come after the fire fly family if it wasn't a sequel. if you use big words you better know what they mean. I am a fan of rob zombie and as such have been let down lately by his underperformance.
JEEZ LOUISE!!! Why don't all of you chowderheads just wait for the movie to be released?? It's more than a year away & people are slagging it already. Not one frame of film has been shot people. Nobody knows what's gonna happen with this flick. It could be great, It could be a stinker. At this point WHO CARES?? Let's just wait & see kiddies....
Hey 6dark6lotus6 and his butt buddy BrokenAlchemist9.....The reason I don't care about this is because it's NOT HORROR.....It's about a biker named T-REX....WHOOOOOPPPEEEEE Fucking Do. I loved the Devils Rejects....even bought the big last supper poster and framed it.....but this movie has the smells like ass potential from miles away.
I speak for myself and base my thoughts regarding this matter solely around the sort of behavior that I constantly see around here. Having that said, you offer an extremely simplistic synopsis of something people hardly know anything about, and then completely close your mind to the idea after seeing a poster and some concept art. If this, in fact, turns out to be an adaption of The Nail, I can see plenty of avenues this film could take to keep it dark in nature and a shocking, Devil's Rejects-esque film for horror fans alike. While this film may not be balls-out horror, it is definitely worthy of a mention (at the very least) for the fans of his films. Besides, this website has been known to report on movies that I wouldn't consider horror on its best day.. Can anyone say "Hellboy II", because I can.. You're grasping at straws in an attempt to justify what you thought would lead into a complete Zombie trash & bash fest, but ended up blowing up in your face. That's cool that you are a fan of Zombie's films and all, but open your mind, give it a shot (trailers, etc) and if it turns out that this film is not for you, then so be it.
I sorta agree with you JoeCLick. "Rejects" is fucking brilliant, "House of..." had potential but faltered BADLY towards the end & "Halloween" was just an awful, Terrible mess. That being said i still think we should all just wait & see what the z-man has in him. And gorebath, While you're (probably) right about it not being a horror movie (Although nobody but Zombie knows for sure right now) that doesn't mean we can't embrace something that isn't horror. "T-REX" might be an over the top gore fest. It doesn't have to be a horror movie to be gory & gruesome does it?? As long as it's entertaining I'll be there.
When i first heard of this i thought cool... i wanted to robs take on kaiju eiga(giant monster movies) and saw it was a riff on the nail he did with niles and know seeing the art feeling he's not sure where the story will go doesn't help, i am a fan of his and feel let down by his latest efforts, i remember back in the day he was going to direct crow 2 but copped out, then he did the the acid trip bit in beavis and butt head do america and that was a great seqence. but all said maybe he just stick to music and videos. I will wait and see what happens next.
Yeah Korollocke I know what you mean. I really wish he would have done his the crow because ever since the first crow movie it has just been a rehash. I got access to a version of his Crow script off the net and its was very different from anything you ever heard of. As for room between house and rejects I think Rob said thier was a 3 month difference between the films. Hey does anyone else notice the look differences between the nail character of different art paintings than the character in this one? I don't know but to me they look different.
