Earlier today we posted a link to the first official stills from Dario Argento's Hitchockian thriller, Giallo, today we've got a look at two posters for the film that will tell the story of a serial murderer with a taste for attractive women, who is being chased by a solitary detective. Asia Argento, Ray Liotta, Elsa Pataky, Adrien Brody, Emmanuelle Seigner and Elsa Pataky all star. Read on for the skinny.
What's with the 2 entirely different posters? I hate it how many times they make different posters for Europe and the US and usually the UK ones in particular look crap. Like the first poster a lot, the second is beyond idiotic
I don't like either of them. Both of them lack creativity and don't spark interest, at least for me. However, the better of the two is definitely the first one as everyone else has said. What the hell were they thinking with the second one?
The first one is a fake. It's the same image of an Italian book about Italian Mafia. The book's title is Gomorra written by Roberto Saviano.
Take a look here: http://www.ibs.it/code/9788804554509/saviano-roberto/gomorr a-viaggio-nell.html
I think even the second one is a fake but I'm not sure.
I like the first one too. Who the hell came up with that idea for the second one? I mean - who the fuck thought Adrien Brody's ugly mug on a large piece of paper would help sell a film?
Neither of these are the official poster. Besides, I'd think with a cast like this, Argento wouldn't half-ass the poster design. The first poster is actually an image from a book and the second I saw on the cover of a DVD for a movie some years ago.
if i had to (& i mean HAD to) pick one it would be the first, but i don't like either of them. the 2nd one has to be a fake. Brody doesn't even look like that in the movie (from what i've seen in every pic). he has a goatee & his hair is longer. i agree w/ above posts, i think they're BOTH fakes.
I don't think either are official. The first poster is just an Andy Warhol piece titled "Knives," and I just hope the second one is fake. Sure, Brody is a great actor, but that poster is terrible.
