He didn't star in Evil Dead and Evil Dead 2... he was only a fake shemp... but yeah, I think it would be cool to have someone well known to the horror genre direct part 3.

I love how they refer to the stand-ins as fake shemps in those movies.

Fuck yeah, I'll buy this on the launch day. I loved Hostel, and liked Hostel Part II alot. Spiegel directing could be really cool.

He directed "FROM DUSK TILL DAWN 2", which was a shitty, shitty DTV sequel.

Not as bad as 3. That one just flat out blew chunks. And he also directed the remake of "Modesty Blaise", which kicked ass.

i hope that roth has some sort of involvment. that'd be sad if he wasn't.

A straight to DVD release? Oh man. I know that doesn't always mean a bad thing, but when the third in a successful franchise is sent straight to DVD it probably means it will suck ass

Honestly, Eli is probably done with the Hostel franchize, and now it could very well turn into hack'n'slash movie without any substance. Who ever does it next will have to keep a good story line to keep you drawn in of it will just suck, (kinda like the remake to "My bloody valientine") that movie blew donkey balls...
