Geena Davis Would Love to Be Part of a ‘Beetlejuice’ Sequel
Outside of playing the President in “Commander in Chief” Geena Davis has been taking it easy these days. So has Beetlejuice co-star Michael Keaton. While I wouldn’t say a Beetlejuice sequel is on the top of my wish list, it is something that could be cool to see before the studio decides to remake it instead. While there isn’t any real news here, it’s nice to dream, especially since there have been talks over the past 5 years (including an announcement of a potential DTV sequel by Warner Premiere). In an interview with Moviehole.net, Davis was surprised to hear about a potential sequel, yet added, “I would do that!” She continues, “Thing is, do ghosts age? Wouldn’t we be stuck in the age we were? Alec [Baldwin] and I would have to look as we did then – who knows, maybe we could? I better get in touch with Tim Burton.” The sequel was actually penned in the 90’s under the title Beetlejuice Goes Hawaiian. You can read more about that at the link above.
