Cool CG Creature Featured in New ‘Blackout’ One Sheets
Starway Pictures has reached an agreement with Phase 4 Films (formerly of Peace Arch Entertainment) to distribute The Blackout in all media in the United States. The first one sheet created some debate here on BD as it’s a blatant rip-off of the Feast poster. Now, we’ve got our hands on two brand new one sheets, one of which is pretty incredible. Also check out the two trailers that premiere before AFM. Robert David Sanders’ creature-feature begins when an apartment building’s lights go out mysteriously, all of the tenants put aside their problems and band together to get to the bottom of the city-wide blackout. Deep in the basement of the high-rise, a hideous breed of monster hatches and begins to wreak havoc. Everyone must find a way to kill the blood-thirsty creatures and survive the darkness before it destroys the world.

New Line’s ‘Companion’ from ‘Barbarian’ Team Has Been Rated “R” for “Strong Violence” & “Sexual Content”
From New Line Cinema and producer Zach Cregger (Director: Barbarian) comes the upcoming sci-fi/horror movie Companion, which has officially received its “R” rating this week.
Companion has been rated “R” by the MPA for…
“Strong violence, sexual content, and language throughout.”
The film’s cast includes Sophie Thatcher (“Yellowjackets,” The Boogeyman) alongside Rupert Friend (Separation), Harvey Guillén (“What We Do in the Shadows”), Lukas Gage (“You”), Megan Suri (It Lives Inside), and Jack Quaid (Scream, “The Boys”).
Described as a sci-fi/horror movie, Companion will mark the directorial debut of Drew Hancock, who also wrote the script. At this time, plot details are under wraps.
