Severin Launches Official Website, ‘Birdemic’ Teased!
Severin Films today announced the launch of their all-new website at Severin-Films.com. The state-of-the-art site will include individual pages for the company’s 60+ DVD and Blu-ray releases, with each page featuring stills, trailers, film clips, press links and Bonus Feature excerpts. In addition, the site will feature up-to-date news, a full company bio, mailing list, retail links, exclusive offers, connections to Severin’s popular Facebook and Twitter page, and the option to sign up for a regular newsletter. The company also plans to host noted guest bloggers for weekly on-line discussions. Media outlets will be able to obtain press releases, Quicktime film clips, and high-resolution color stills and box art from a password-protected area. But the pick of the litter is this blog by Evan Husney that will give you a little intro into the world of Birdemic, Severin’s forthcoming release that I promise will be one of the most hilarious theatrical experiences of your life! ‘In a Violent Nature’ Gets Official VHS Release With Standard Edition and Book Box Edition
While we wait for the sequel, the fan favorite slasher movie In a Violent Nature is back this week with a brand new VHS release from Broke Horror Fan and Witter Entertainment.
An official partnership with Shudder, In a Violent Nature is now available on limited edition fully functional VHS, with a Standard Edition and a special Book Box Edition.
Witter previews, “The 2024 Shudder Original slasher arrives on VHS with two variants: A standard slipcase with art by The Boland Design Company, and a book box edition with art by Gary Pullin + a gatefold cover and green VHS tape! Book boxes are limited to 200.”
Each tape includes exclusive introductions from director Chris Nash and cast. And a behind-the-scenes featurette is even included, which will play after the feature itself.
For optimal VHS viewing, the film is presented in its original 4:3 full frame aspect ratio.
