What are the chances of you guys doing a line of Horror Movie Girls (like) Sydney from Scream, Nancy from A Nightmare On Elm Street, a reader asks. Randy Falk responds, "We don't have those licenses currently so it won't happen anytime soon. I would put Halloween's (Laurie) Strode at the top of the list though…" I'd love to see a Strode figure! Another piece of solid information shared is when a reader asked, "(Is there) anything more (planned) from the Army of Darkness license and does the license include anything from the first two Evil Dead movies?" Over the past few days NECA has revealed plans for tons of horror figures for 2008. One such figure revealed at the New York Toy Fair was BEETLEJUICE, which they had a prototype on display. But what wasn't revealed was that besides the standard black and white pinstriped outfit (pictured here), there will also be a red tux variant coming in a later series, along with plans for a version featuring Beetlejuice with roll-out arms and carousel head! At this past weekend's Toy Fair in New York, Jun Planning also revealed figures based on the popular Japanese franchise, Death Note, which look pretty damn cool.
