So, who is playing young Jason Voorhees? Actors shed a little blood for the camera...
1:55am, May 15, 2008
Greetings from Crystal Lake! First let's reveal something here that I don't think anyone knows. Young Jason Voorhees is being played by Caleb Guss (pictured). The make-up is awesome, freaky and true to the original. Though he only worked a few days - the imagery adds a very disturbing depth to the character.
A couple of other things; first of all it feels like we are getting great footage, but in exchange our actors are paying the price with their blood. In order of blood spilled, Aaron Yoo just returned to set after a week in the hospital. The fine doctors here split him down the middle and repaired an obstruction in his intestine and now he is sporting 27 staples holding together his abdomen. Not optimal to say the least. Especially considering today's work required him to fall to the ground out of the back of an Escalade. Yoo is a trooper; he bravely endured the pain that forced him to lie down after he was done to make sure he didn't disembowel himself. In the back of my head I wondered if his insides spilled out should we shoot it and figure out how to work it into the movie. That is how horror movies screw with your head...
Second episode of blood spilling claimed the lovely Danielle Panabaker. She, of an easy smile and easygoing spirit, commits every time, especially in scenes that require full speed running. Last night we were shooting a scene where
Travis Van Winkle and Danielle are running full speed down a narrow hall, they got tangled up and Danielle's chin collided with the hard edge of the window sill leaving her down for the count. She was out cold for a minute with a bloody chin... she's a tough girl and was willing to come back the next day to shoot, but we adjusted our schedule to accommodate her ailing chin.
In addition, two other actors bit the dust for various reasons as well, so three weeks in we have had four "episodes". But I can assure you what happens to them on camera will be much worse...

Stop remaking classic movies and turning them to shit! Please!!! |
 | Zombie Dude 2:11am, May 15, 2008
For god sake, mfcmk please just shut the hell up. Go make an annoyance of yourself where people interested in what Platinum Dunes is doing for the fans don't have to listen to you.
I hope everybody is ok. Sounds like you've had a very hectic three weeks. Thanks for the update.

Zombie Dude, you call yourself a horror fan? Can't you see these assholes are stealing the ideas from our favorite films just so they can cash in! Fuck off! |
 | disanti 3:06am, May 15, 2008
That kids looks like a good fit to play the young Jason. I'm glad we are getting the chance to see the story of Jason completed and fixed up. As for Yoo, I bet you that blockage in his intestine was from PF Changs...you should be feeding these people better Fuller. As for mfcmk, you'll be one of the first in line to see this movie. If not, you'll be the only one not seeing it. This movie is going to kick ass...and if it doesn't...what are you going to do cry about it? If it sucks, then it sucks. At least we have the chance to see Jason again. The best part is, that if it's good, we'll see a lot more of him. |
 | disanti 3:08am, May 15, 2008
Oh, digging this 2 updates in 3 days thing..keep it up. More, more, more!!!! |
 | francesco 3:44am, May 15, 2008
little Jason is scary as hell! I like him.
about the actors...well they are pussy!
come one guys...can't wait!!! |
 | Zombie Dude 6:12am, May 15, 2008
mfcmk I am a horror fan which is why I know this really isn't even a remake, it's more of a relaunch. If it were a remake it'd mean no Jason.
Platinum Dunes obviously respects the fans enough to give them what they want to see, which is Jason back on the big screen.
Stealing ideas? No one ever had a go at the people behind the sequels and they seem to be reusing ideas from the previous film. I say you should just stop posting if you have nothing to contribute besides your annoyance. |
 | brandonsl21 8:32am, May 15, 2008
It's like RZ's Halloween, like it or not it was done and we always have the original. RZ's Halloween for what it's worth wasn't a bad film, it wasn't great either but it brought Michael back to the big screen in a big way and relaunced the franchise. Platinum Dunes is going to do the same with Friday the 13th, if it sucks we've always got the original, if it 's good (which concidering TCM remake it will be) then we will see alot more of Jason. ONLY complante I have is Kane Hodder isn't playing Jason but I guess it's time for a fresh hocky mask. Now in regards to The Nightmare on Elm Street remake stuff. I really do not think it need's to be done. There isn't much more you can do with those in my opinion, and unlike Kane Hodder if Robert Englund doesn't play Freddy there is NOOOO point in doing the film. Sure get someone else to play young Freddy, but once he gets a little older than Robert needs to be the man wearing the glove. Just my opinion. One last thing has anyone else heard about the Halloween 2 rumor's? I read stuff on www.myspace.com/newhalloween2
I don't know if it's a fan site or if the person is sending a script in or what. Anyway I'll be in the ticket line Feb. 13th for Friday the 13th..Kill Kill Kill Kill Kill................... |
 | jkrouskop 8:51am, May 15, 2008
Good casting choice for young Jason. The kid has the right look. Also good to hear that the cast is so dedicated, though I hope you'll go a little easier on Miss Panabaker's lovely chin from here on out! |
 | BenVacancy 10:05am, May 15, 2008
This kid looks great for the role. Can't wait to see him in make-up! |
 | Horrorfan83 10:41am, May 15, 2008
Hey mfcmk. Go fuck yourself you fucking asshole. This remake is going to own all horror remakes and destroy anyone who gets in its path. I hope Jason chops off your fucking head and feeds it to you mother asshole. |
 | HorrorFan1978 11:24am, May 15, 2008
This is Awesome!!! This Kid will be great for the part. Look at his eyes, he's got the perfect look. brandonsl21, I've heard a lot of rumors on Halloween 2 also, I've heard that Dimention wants to make a sequal to Rob Zombie's Halloween, but that Rob Zombie won't be directing it. I'm not gonna beleave any more rumors until I see it with my own eyes. I'm tired of hearing rumors that don't come true. |
 | mfcmk 12:06pm, May 15, 2008
Zomie Dude, I understand what your saying, and I'd be lying if I said I wasn't excited at first when I heard that Jason was going to return. But heres the thing, when they announced the new TCM I was wayyyyyyy excited and after I saw it I was so disappointed because I thought it was going to at least live up to the original. It didn't. Same goes with the Fog remake... what the hell was that about? Then we have Rob Zombies Halloween, which I was extremely excited about and then the film was horrible. When a stranger calls, prom night, The Omen, House of Wax, etc.. all were terrible. Seriously I mean what the hell? There hasn't really been a single good remake besides dawn of the dead, and even with that the zombies were RUNNING! All I can say is that I grew up on these great horror movies and to watch them get remade and turned into crap makes me feel less and less of a horror fan. I really really hope this FRIDAY doesn't disappoint like most the other remakes have, and now when they are talking about changing Jason's mask to make him look Menacing??? I don't know you guys, but I hope you can understand why people like me would be upset about this when all of their favorite films keep getting remade into garbage so the producers can rake in the dough. |
 | shitbuster 12:25pm, May 15, 2008
As long as this isn't like the Halloween remake...I'm down for this. RZ's Halloween was the worst movie I've ever seen. RZ cannot direct and is a big pile of shit for creating such a turd. |
 | disanti 2:21pm, May 15, 2008
so, mfcmk, if they re-make a movie, does it mean you can't go back and watch the original? NOPE! I bet when a movie gets remade, sales of the original DVD go way up. It puts interest in both versions. Then, from there, people can pick and choose which version they like the best. I don't think this could even get half as bad as any RZ movie so I am not scared. PD has had good production value and solid story lines in all of their films. The 4 movies they have produced have been solid efforts, unlike a lot of other bigger studios who seem to be pumping out just any horror movie they can claim rights too. Except for Halloween, PD seems to be having some top notch re-makes coming out of the best horror movies. Although, I don't know how psyched I can really get for "The Birds." Let's wait for some more announcements on NOES before we start getting all pissy. Right now we all have to make sure we are giving major feedback on F13th because, HOPEFULLY, they are reading these posts we are making. The second something gets posted that we don't like, they are sure to hear it and hopefully do something about it. As long as the mask doesn't looking anything like JGTH, FvJ, or JX...I'll be happy. |
 | magnaderalpha 3:10pm, May 15, 2008
It might be twisted, but the bit about Panabaker eating it had me laughing. I keep on thinking about blooper/outtake segment shown of that Reggae guy who says, "Negativity is a fatal distractions, with action is it's interaction...we need to proceed in this transaction! Action! Take action!!", then he walks face first into a tree and knocks himself out cold. Heh... |
 | Joe 5:12pm, May 15, 2008
I think the kid looks great for young Jason. As for the actors, they still have it about ten times better than any crew member or actor involved with the original TCM. Now that was brutal film making!
As for mfcmk, you are just another broken record that plays everytime a new remake is announced. It's time to get over it and realize that no matter what you say it going to happen. You'll always have the original.
I also don't understand why you are getting so pissy. They are taking the series back to it's roots. Are you actually tryng to say that this will be worse than Jason Takes Manhatten, Jason Goes to Hell, or Jason X? The series should have ended with part four.
At least this entry will at least attempt at making Jason scary again. |
 | Murder, INC. 6:56pm, May 15, 2008
I agree that this kid could make a good Jason in his early years... I definitly like hearing "true to the original" and seeing that this kid is thin like Leehman was. Few things sucked more than seeing later versions of young Jason as a fatty with hair. |
 | Murder, INC. 6:58pm, May 15, 2008
oops, I mean later versions of fatty young Jason, one with hair. |
 | Joe Fitrzyk 12:24am, May 16, 2008
Mr. Fuller,
Thank you for bringing old school horror back to the big screen!
Chainsaw was disturbingly beautiful and both Friday and Nightmare are tied for my two favorite films of all time--they are as much a part of my childhood as Santa Claus and the monster that lived under my bed.
Growing up in Detroit, the themes of light overcoming dark were very inspirational to me. Even when all the odds are stacked against you, you can survive--you can come out on top. That was always the moral of the horror story for me.
I can't imagine anyone else but you and the brilliant Marcus Nispel reinventing these franchises and rebooting my childhood.
Thank you again, you're totally my hero!

Jeez. You'd think everyone wanted them to remake the movie down to every frame if they remake it. But everyone hated Van Sant's Psycho when he did it. But, I know most people just don't want them to remake stuff. Personally, I'm on board, cause these guys might be making big budget horror and raking in dough, but at least they're still making horror. And fun horror for the most part.
And to the kid who is hating on them, DOTD isn't the only good remake. What about THE THING? Nothing beats that shit. |
 | Pat34 2:06am, May 16, 2008
I think he looks great. Great choice for young Jason! |
 | Cynthiab 3:00am, May 16, 2008
Maybe the movie is cursed! Would suck for the actors but would make a great story for the press and the DVD.
Love Aaron, got to interview him for 21. Hope he's feeling better, he's such a wild man, I can't imagine even that many tummy staples keeping him down. |
 | Zombie Dude 5:41am, May 16, 2008
I see what you’re saying mfcmk, some remakes are really bad. Judging from what Platinum Dunes has already given us, it seems this film is in good hands. I really don't think we should judge the film till we actually see it. |
 | mfcmk 2:04pm, May 16, 2008
Alright, Zombie Dude, I am giving this one a chance. I'm hoping that it is more of a sequel and less of a remake... and with Jason back this may be so. I apologize for being cruel to you in previous posts... I'm just kind of being over-protective of a film I've loved for so many years. I won't be judging this anymore until I have left the theater right after viewing it. |
 | roycewriter 3:52pm, May 16, 2008
Since Platinum Dunes took the care and time to use John Laroquette for the opening narration for Chainsaw remake to pay homage to him doing original, why not do same for F13th and get Harry Manfredini to do the score and famous kikiki-mamama. Brad, please can you consider this. |
 | disanti 4:13pm, May 16, 2008
The only problem with Manfrendini is that his score for Jason X was bogus. I don't know if he is to be trusted. I would say, the only thing RZ had done right on Halloween was the theme. I don't know the guys name who did it, but it was changed just enough, but not too much. |
 | disanti 4:14pm, May 16, 2008
Oh but I forget to mention that the fucking rock and roll soundtrack totally ruined the atmosphere of the movie. If it just stuck with the theme the whole time, it might have been an improvment. |
 | BellPepper 6:12pm, May 16, 2008
Dude, this kid looks perfect as Jason! Man, I hope Yoo and Panabaker are okay. |
 | Madgoalie 7:09pm, May 16, 2008
First off, the kid looks like a good choice for young Jason. Can't wait to see him in makeup. Secondly, I think Manfredini would do a good job if he has a full orchestra to work with. ala 1-4. JGTH and JX scores were synthesized crap. |
 | Horrorfan83 7:23pm, May 16, 2008
mfcmk, How the hell can you say you will look at this as more of a sequal when the last jason movie took place in space, And his mother is in the remake even if its for a little while. This is a REMAKE. Get the hell over it and enjoy the fact that jason has new life and this franchise can rule horror once again. This remake is going to rule! Say it with me, THIS...IS...A...REMAKE! There you go. A remake that is going to kick ass. |
 | Zombie Dude 8:47pm, May 16, 2008
I'm glad you're going to give the film a chance mfcmk. Let’s hope it's as good as they say it's going to be.
Horrorfan83 this film can hardly be classified as a remake of Friday the 13th. For one, Jason's back as a killer, hocky mask and all. Plus BD said the actress playing Jason's mother got a head mould done, meaning more than likely she will be dead in this film. All mfcmk is trying to say is that this will most likely feel more like a sequel in terms of what it's offering.
|
 | mfcmk 9:16pm, May 16, 2008
Thank you Zombie Dude. Horrorfan83, I didn't mean that the film was going to possibly be like a direct sequel to Jason X, I meant it would feel like a jason film that fits in somewhere with the timeline. If this were a true remake of friday the 13th then we wouldn't have adult Jason in it killing... just because it has his mother in it doesn't make it so. Friday the 13th 2, 3, and even Freddy VS Jason had his mother in it. The way I see it, it's going to have an updated new vision kind of flashback as to what Jason is all about, how he came to be and then the rest will hopefully be pure mayhem. I'll call it a remake if you want. I'll call it whatever the heck everyone wants it to be called, but the important thing is that Jason's back. |
 | Massad 10:46pm, May 16, 2008
I'm really glad with this New Friday The 13th mainly because I'll see Jason back to the big screen and because this is an opportunity for Paramount release in my country Parts VII and VIII in DVD.

Brad Fuller is a great great person for letting us all read and hear about the new movie, this guy obviously has a great passion for the genre, and I couldnt ask more for someone to do than give it there best devotion to a picture remake of something we all love and grew up on...
I have respect for anybody who knows he will be bashed for what he's doing and still allows people to make comments, knowing alot of assholes will write stupid shit about him and what he's doing...
Keep it all going, and i am trying to be patient waiting for the new Friday, but it isnt easy waiting, especially reading about it almost every day!
yay!

If this movie does well I hope paramount and new live can get together and release a new box set featuring all uncut footage and alternate endings from every movie. Not to mention digitaly re-master it and upgrade that shit to Blu-ray. When this movie get's release, I hope you release a version that is completely uncut to the point where I don't care if you have to be 18 to buy it. That would create so much buzz in itself that I bet the DVD would fly off the shelf and we could all get the 100% gore factor. |
 | Joe 2:24pm, May 17, 2008
Paramount is full of uptight conservative pricks. Don't hold your breath. |
 | Spymunk 3:16am, May 18, 2008
Platinum Dunes, et al -
I personally can't wait for this movie - I look forward to seeing how Platinum Dunes is going to add to the FRIDAY THE 13TH mythology.
The way I see it, I've been waiting for years for a new FRIDAY THE 13TH movie, and a new one is coming. I'd like to think a lot of other fans feel the same way - that it's been an eternity since Jason came bubbling up out of Crystal Lake in his own movie.
I'm hearing a lot of people criticize and condemn Platinum Dunes - and so far there's been nothing to suggest even a little that this movie won't be great. The cast is full of faces we've seen do some fine work in the past - and adult and kid Jason both look spot-on perfect for their roles.
I'm glad the contents of the movie are a mystery to me. I only hope Platinum Dunes doesn't make the mistake of trying too hard to please all the fans and try to have everything 'both ways.'
Guys - listen to the fans as a guide, but don't cater to us. Let us tell you what things we feel are important, but don't let us convince you nothing should ever develop nor evolve.
I do have one huge question for the PD people I hope they will answer for me, though. My email is replyable, btw.
Throughout the series, there has been a huge and constant shift back and forth with FRIDAY THE 13TH that bridges the gap between the supernatural elements of the story and the more realistic 'psycho in the woods' elements.
I've read before in the past while this project was in development that the people working on it were trying hard to bridge the gap between those elements and make them work without taking it so far as to create 'zombie Jason' or 'teleporting Jason.'
My question to PD - without spoiling anything, can you answer the question of whether this was a factor in coming up with your version of the character? I personally always liked the mysterious Jason who was part supernatural and part real-world-psycho. I liked the idea that Jason died as a boy and came back - like the old man describes in Part VII's opening. That way, the supernatural elements and the more realistic elements work together - he's not a zombie, but he's not quite human either.
Did this sort of thinking come into consideration for your version, or are you taking it into a purely realistic dimension?
I hope you will read and reply to my message. BEST TO YOU AND YOURS ON THE MOVIE! |
 | roycewriter 12:21pm, May 18, 2008
I think if given the opportunity Harry Manfredini would do a superb job with the score. Each of the two scores mentioned that some of you had issue with, i.e., JGTH and JX had a feel specific to the movie. JGTH was creepy and mystical. JX was a space action horror film. If he gets to do the remake i am sure it will feel like the 1-4 movies scores. Platinum Dunes should just give him a chance. |
 | CampBlood1980 1:07pm, May 18, 2008
If Harry Manfredini did do the score for this movie, I'm sure he would know what is expected of him & the score. He would know they're taking a serious approach to actually make it scary again. In my opinion, the original score is as important to Friday, than John Carpenters score is for Halloween. Great choice for young Jason by the way, and thanks Brad for allowing us a way to voice our opinion's. I'm a little curious if there will be a "Crazy Ralph" in this one. |
 | disanti 2:02pm, May 18, 2008
Good points about JTGH and JX. To calm my fears a little bit, I watched the TCM re-make the other night. I really made the point to pay attention to the score when I watched it to see how it was handled. For me, it fit into the mood of the movie well and I was happy with it. Saying that, whoever PD chooses to do their music for this movie, we can be pretty rest assured that it will not be over-done and fit into the movie well. I wonder if their is a crazy ralph...any ideas? That would be hilarious if they brought Kevin Bacon back and dressed him up all crazy and shit. |

This movie CANNOT suck...
My friends, I am in a unique situation - this movie comes out on my 31st (13 bckwrds) birthday. PLEASE Brad, I beg you, don't mess it up!!
Friday fans have been anxious over this whole idea, but when I saw TCM:TB, I thought, "these guys should do Friday!" I just hope I'm right. |
 | voorhees213 5:27am, May 20, 2008
BTW, I thought The Hitcher was pretty good too, that's a tough one to redo (Rutger Hauer is just amazing in the original) |
 | KandyMan 9:34am, May 20, 2008
Im really looking forward to this! I loved what Marcus Nispel did with TCM, a film i saw late because I was convinced it would be terrible compared to the original. I also loved The Beginning. However, sorry Platinum Dunes but I was down right offended by The Hitcher. I think you should give me my £6.50 back lol.
Good luck with Friday 13th and give us another TCM!

How about some updates, you're killing us! |
 | Zombie Dude 6:42am, May 25, 2008
I agree, we need some more updates....please. It feels like it's been forever since the last one. |
 | Voorhees Fan 7:56pm, May 25, 2008
I agree, I would love to see more updates and maybe some behind the scenes footage, like interviews with the cast and crew. Also an interview with young Jason would be cool to see as well. This is going to be a nice and refreshing start with the franchise again, a lot better than the later sequels, Jason Takes Manhattan, Jason goes to Hell and Jason X were not that very good. Revisiting Camp Crystal Lake would be very beneficial for us Friday the 13th fans. |
 | voorhees213 6:45am, May 27, 2008
The only problem I might have with this whole remake idea is I know the Friday the 13th font/typeface will probably not be part of it. I really miss it. New Line never used it (except for merchandising), & I doubt PD would use it if they're trying to re-start a franchise. & please, don't f**k with the mask too much! |
 | Zombie Dude 8:27am, May 27, 2008
As if the font they use for the title really matters, as long as the film itself is good. |
 | disanti 1:59pm, May 27, 2008
Actually...if they used the font that'd be pretty cool. But if would be even greater if they did the old style opening credits sequence with the title blasting through the mask. I would die laughing. |
 | voorhees213 10:59pm, May 27, 2008
Zombie Dude, let me clarify, I know the font won't make the movie better in terms of overall quality, I just think the font is pretty iconic. The one Paramount used for the V-VII DVD's was horrible, no? |
 | Zombie Dude 2:35am, May 28, 2008
voorhees213, I doubt they'll use it, but if they do it'll most likely be modified. The font doesn't bother me that much, unless it was really horrible. |
 | disanti 8:26pm, May 28, 2008
Paramount's treatment of the series is horrible...not just the font they used. That's why I am glad it is now in the hands of PD...at least they are excited about making a Friday the 13th Film. |
 | disanti 10:00pm, May 30, 2008
.....I hope this hold out is worth the wait!?! If this goes all the way to Friday the 13th in June...there better be a pic of Jason. |
 | jackmeat 11:02pm, May 30, 2008
First off, if you are here to tell anyone not to remake movies, go find an ample place to do it. maybe a movie 5 years old that is being remade already, the HULK.
Second, I am not some huge fan, but I will say the remakes so far have been OK, nothing to turn off, but nothing to write home about. But there seems to be a general theme, true fans of great horror movies trying to bring the spirit back. Nothing wrong with that. It is painfully obvious Hollywood has run out of ideas. They are remaking everything they can.
So a few short questions to board:
Where was this haunting supposedly taking place (if it is Techny, I know much more then the piddly story you were told) and second, if you were an hour away from chicago, why didn't you actually go to Crystal Lake before saying greetings from there (if you did, retract that question)
I do look forward to seeing these remakes, as any true horror fan should, and instead of berating them for doing it, either turn the channel, or make your own damn movie. |
 | disanti 3:49pm, May 31, 2008
Um...you get an A for effort Jack but you need to calm down just a bit. The Hulk is a sequel to the first one. Remember when Eric Bana went to the jungle at the end...this is him coming back. They just hired different actors. Second of all...you didn't read the previous entries very well did you. The hauntings were happening in a building where they were shooting 'The Unborn' in Chicago. When PD wrapped on that...they started the posts from TX where they are filiming F13th. I suggest you take a deep breathe, really read the posts, and then check back in. The great thing is that even those who were bad mouthing this re-make in the beginning are starting to coming around...looking at you mfcmk...and everyone here is cheering on the efforts of PD to hopefully give us one of the best f13th movies to date. So, sit back and wait for the next post like all the rest of us. |

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE
get Harry Manfredini to score the new friday the 13th, it can be at least one thing that is tied in with the old ones, he's gotta bring the famous
kill kill kill thing to the scores, and he's scored all but i think 1, possibly 2 out of the 10 made...
I know he wants to do it, i can tell, but it's not up to him, but you got this forum thing for comments and reading suggestions...
well there's 1 right there...
Music By Harry Manfedini!!!!

Jason was always human...I mean techincally, zombies are humans too. To answer your question though there was a BD news article confirming that he is ALIVE in this movie and not all undead jason. All of his "supernatural abilities" are explained as well...I think I read that? Like he gets around in the woods so fast because of tunnels he made and shit. I think that this jason is going to trump all because he is going to have that alive look of 2-4 but have that aggresive attitude and presence that he had when he was undead. All in all, best movie ever. |

Thanks disanti, I read exactly what you said in some article too. It said that Jason is very human and all that crap about the tunnels etc. |

disanti,
maybe you should read the posts, mate. they WERE in chicago, hence me asking where the hauntings occurred, and they WERE near the actual crystal lake, IL. Those were my questions there. I know they are not filming friday the 13th in IL as it states, but i guess you were too busy critiquing my post to realize it made perfect sense. as for the movie, i know i am looking forward to seeing it. |

Eh whatever...they hadn't posted in like 2 weeks i was bored. But you did call The Hulk a remake. |
 | Nisho 1:26pm, June 3, 2008
hey, the new hulk IS NOT a sequel. It's been said everywhere that it has nothing to do with the previous one. Anyway... There are two movies I'm dying to see next year: Friday re-IMAGINATION, and Terminator Salvation: The Future Begins (title's gay)! |
 | Nisho 1:32pm, June 3, 2008
Oh, and I see nothing wrong with re-making classics... Some of the updates have turned out to be very good, like TCM. |
 | jackmeat 10:43pm, June 3, 2008
All good disanti, the new hulk really isn't a sequel per se, but close enough. looks more like trying to cash in on the marvel trend more than anything. |
 | disanti 10:38pm, June 6, 2008
but it picks up after he leaves the jungle. I read the synopsis somewhere. He comes back from his time in the rain forest and he's laying low from the Government and shiiiiiit. |
 | disanti 12:53pm, June 7, 2008
And they do flash backs with Ed Norton to re-tell the origin just a bit...because Eric Bana sucks that much. |

This movie is going to be awsome...and i can't wait for Nightmare...( I was thinking...why not get Johnny Depp to play Freddy...that would return him to the genre that got him started) |
 | g1ng3rsnap9ed 2:19pm, February 1, 2009
Okay, I have a LOT to get off of me chest with you greedy, money-hungry bastards.
I made this account specifically for the occasion.
First off, haven't you prematurely ended enough Horror franchises TCM, F13, and now A Nightmare On Elm Street?
Not only this, but Robert Englund will not be replaying Freddy!!? If you remake ANOES, that is one thing, but
an actor other than Robert Englund playing Freddy Krueger!!? That is downright blasphemous!!!
There is no need for the original Nightmare to be remade, it has aged elegantly, and holds up
even to today's standards. (Which actually are quite low, due to talentless hacks like you.)
However, since for whatever reason you feel the urge to do so, ($$$) just give the fans
Robert Englund as Freddy. If not as Freddy, give him at least ten minutes of screen time in a
cameo or whatever. If not, then I swear to God that I will start the greatest cinematic boycott ever known against your film. Me and my friends will do whatever we can in our power to prevent your films from making money, boycotts, posting spoilers in the anticipation Threads on theinternet, anything that can possibly take that extra 8 bucks away from you. So please, for the love of the fans, (And for your love of money.) let Robert Englund play Freddy.
If not, then I hope that anybody and everybody and their entire families at platinum deuche (OOPS! That's not a Typo!!) rot in Hell you talentless, greedy, selfish, money-hungry low-life hacks. |
