Best know for his hilarious indie film The Janitor, Signore won the first ever "Best Spoof" award for his short United 300, which was handed out by Samuel L. Jackson himself - Watch as 300 Spartans stand their ground against German Hijackerrs by reading on and see what Signore had to tell B-D about the experience! Greeting Horror Fans - Some of you may recognize me from my feature length film "The Janitor", which was mentioned on here a few years back - well I was lucky enough to win an MTV Movie Award this past weekend, for their first ever User Generated Best Spoof category. I wanted to share my spoof "United 300" with all of the horror fans. It was surely a more controversial choice, and I give Yahoo! Movies, MTV and Mark Burnett Productions huge props for standing by my artistic vision. It was a wild night hanging with the likes of Sam Jackson, John Travolta, Jack Nicholson, Jessica Biel, Jessica Alba... But the two coolest moments for me had to be when '300' and 'Dawn of the Dead' (2004) director Zack Synder, told me personally "Your spoof was hillarious! I forwarded to everyone and I couldn't stop laughing!" - followed by finding out that King Leonidas himself, Gerard Butler, would be sitting in front of me during the show. He was such a cool guy and complimented several times on a job well done! I even got to pitch them both on getting the spoof as at least an easter egg on the '300' DVD. I'm crossing my fingers!
