Tartan's Slit-Mouthed Woman's Title 'Carved' http://www.bloody-disgusting.com/news/8860 Print This Page Back in March Tartan Films bought U.S. rights to the provocatively titled The Slit-Mouthed Woman, a Japanese chiller about a hideously deformed woman who is accused of a gruesome killing spree. Bloody-Disgusting learned this weekend that Tartan Films has officially renamed Koji Shiraishi's film, which is based on a well-known folk legend, to Carved. Tartan says it plans to put out the movie directly to video in July in a release that is almost day-and-date with the Japanese DVD bow.
