While out promoting Hatchet, Behind the Mask and Killer Pad, star-turned-director Robert Englund has been out and about teasing fans with the A Nightmare On Elm Street Prequel and a possible Freddy vs Jason sequel, while various other souces are claiming a possible Nightmare SEQUEL could be next. In the midst of all of the madness we checked in with some peeps at New Line Cinema who confirm everything floating around the web right now is untrue. Sure one day we might see Freddy return to the big screen, but right now the focus is mainly on rebooting Jason Voorhees with a remake of Friday the 13th.
