Over at BDTV you can check out a pretty brutal trailer for the film (not work safe), which shows that Shirashi was obviously inspired by Eli Roth's HOSTEL franchise (right down to the color scheme). Even the film's official website displays that the promo materials for the film are HOSTEL inspired.
