First, he has not been approached for the A NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET REMAKE, which Platinum Dunes has also yet to sign for. The remake to PEOPLE UNDER THE STAIRS is likely and could be his next project - there is no take on the next film yet. A SHOCKER remake could one day happen, but not likely. On a sequel to 25/8 is tells us that it was planned as a stand alone film, like ELM STREET, but jokes "not everyone is dead at the end of the film."
