Today Variety upped the ante with details that MGM has just acquired the script and has tapped Goddard to direct The Cabin in the Woods. No plot details were revealed (again). Goddard and Whedon first teamed on "Buffy the Vampire Slayer," which Whedon created, and also worked together on the "Buffy" spinoff "Angel."
