The conversation took the turn towards THE EVIL DEAD where the Entertainment Weekly reporter joked about even more editions of the films arriving on DVD. Campbell explains that there will be a few more editions, but not through Anchor Bay, and that there will be new footage edited together for the extras. As for the long delayed EVIL DEAD remake, Campbell exclaims "I would just say it was attributed to SPIDER-MAN - his [director Sam Raimi] general sense is he can do those movies anytime. For right now he's plowing other fertile fields." What's it gonna take for Ash to return? "If Sam's not the guy behind the camera there's no reason whatsoever for me [to return]... what, are you going to make a 200 million EVIL DEAD movie?" Campbell jokes.
