Sounds cool doesn't it? I'm begging each and every one of you NOT to go, unless of course the sole reason you do is to see it with fellow fans. Last night I saw Poltergeist at the AMC Burbank here in CA and was PISSED. I don't know if I'm an idiot or if it was misrepresented to me but I was under the impression that I was seeing an actual print of the film - not just the f-cking DVD. Not only did everyone pay to watch a DVD - that they can now buy at a retailer in it's 25th anniversary form - but they didn't even use the 5.1 sound mix. It was a goddamn joke and apparently I'm not the only one pissed off as AICN readers sent in some disappointing letters.
