First, Dimension Films has announced an October 17, 2008 release date for their remake of Scanners, which Darren Lynn Bousman (Saw II-Saw IV) is attached to helm; a scooper at AICN reports that Len Wiseman is off of the remake of Escape From New York with Brett Ratner (sigh) replacing him; lastly Warner Bros. has launched the official website for their adaptation of I Am Legend, which hits theaters December 14.
