Covered in blood. Breathing deep. Barely conscious. Barely alive. But, alive. How do I get out of here? Where ever here is. I swear I've been down this hallway 1000 times. Every door looks the same. How long have I been here? Hours? Days? Weeks? Where did all these cuts come from, and in the strangest places? I've got to get out of here....
If you head past the break, you can see all the traps from the Saw video game. You can't see these anywhere else. Bloody Disgusting Dead Pixels supersclusive! Saw is out right NOW for the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360. It'll be coming out on Halloween for the PC.
Trap Name: Reverse Bear Trap
Description: The only trap from the movies and the only one the player is in by themselves. The trap is fixed to their jaw and is powered by a giant spring. The player must solve 3 puzzles to remove the bear trap before it opens and rips their jaw off.
Level: Medical
Amanda’s Trap: The Detox Chair
Amanda, the only known surviving victim of Jigsaw from the first SAW movie and Jigsaw disciple in SAW 2 and 3, has relapsed into her old addictions. Having discovered Amanda’s self-mutilation habit, Jigsaw injects Amanda with a deadly toxin. The only way for Tapp to save Amanda is to route the antidote vials to the correct side. If the incorrect vials are injected, Amanda will hemorrhage internally and bleed to death.
Level: Medical
Jennings’ Trap: The Pendulum
Jennings Foster is an original character to the SAW game. After hitting a homeless man with his car and covering up the crime, Jennings has been kidnapped by Jigsaw and placed under a large, swinging pendulum. Tapp must solve gear puzzles to reverse the mechanism or Jennings will be cut in half.
Melissa’s Trap: The Iron Maiden
Melissa Sing, wife of Detective Steven Sing who was killed by a shotgun trap in SAW 1, has become obsessed with whom to blame for her husband’s death. Abandoning her son in a quest for revenge, Melissa Sing has to rely on Tapp to free her from the Iron Maiden. Several saw blades spin on hinged pillars, held back by large magnets keeping them from snapping shut. With each mistake Tapp makes during the puzzle mechanism, a battery powering the magnets will burn out. If all the batteries fail, the pillars of saw blades will snap shut.
Oswald’s Trap: The Backbreaker
Oswald McGuilicutty is a reporter featured in articles written for the first SAW movie. Oswald twisted his words to build up Jigsaw as a media icon. Now words will not be able to save him. If Tapp fails to reroute the power via electrical circuits, Oswald’s body will be twisted and broken into pieces.
Obi’s Trap: The Furnace
Obi Tate is Jigsaw’s future accomplice from SAW 2, kidnapping victims and placing them in Jigsaw’s game. Obi’s only wish is to be part of Jigsaw’s world. To gain admittance, he must face two of his greatest fears; being burned alive, and putting trust in someone else. Tapp must reroute the gas lines powering the flames of the furnace, or Obi will meet a charred fate.
Jeff’s Trap: The Memory Spike
Jeff was a near-victim of a Jigsaw power drill trap before he was rescued by Detectives Tapp and Sing in SAW 1. Jeff’s memories of his past sins haunt him, so Jigsaw created a memory game for Tapp to play. Tapp must match corresponding symbols to free Jeff from his trap. If Tapp matches the wrong symbols, sharpened spikes will pierce Jeff’s body.
I beat this game a while ago.
I must say, the one with Amanda in it, her death is pretty gruesome and hard to watch haha. Just how it's shot with needles and overdosing on the wrong toxins haha.
This game is pretty awesome and everyone should rent it!!!
*you cant see these traps anywere else*
erm...what if you uy them game, surely you'll see them then, i got it imported last week am playing it at the mo and fuckkn LOVING it!!
umm just noticing but you say in the reverse bear trap description "The only trap from the movies" yet the pendulum trap is almost identical to the one at the start of saw 5 as is obi's furnace to saw 2 granted how to solve them is different. also the back breaker seems a bit like the twist trap in saw 3 or 4 i can't remember and as i haven't yet played the game i accept if I'm wrong on that one. And finally Amanda's needle trap seems to be a slight reference to the pit of needles she is thrown into in saw 2 but once again sorry if i am wrong.... just think about it.
