2K Games and Bethesda Softworks are teaming up to deliver a value-packed experience that combines 2006 Game of the Year Winner The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion with 2007 Game of the Year Winner BioShock into one complete package. Beginning July 7, the BioShock & The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Bundle will be available in retailers across North America for an SRP of $39.99 on the Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft and $29.99 for Windows PCs.

With a combined bounty of more than 80 Game of the Year awards from the industry’s top publications, the BioShock & The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Bundle provide two critically acclaimed experiences that have set new benchmarks for their genres.

Taking the world by storm in 2006, Oblivion set a new benchmark for role-playing experiences for current-generation gaming. Lush visuals, expansive worlds and limitless character customization combine with unprecedented levels of player freedom and NPC interaction to form one of the most successful and critically acclaimed games ever created.

BioShock is the genetically enhanced shooter that weaved intricate storytelling with an intense and exciting journey though a decaying underwater Art Deco utopia gone mad. Caught between powerful forces and hunted down by mutated citizens, you are armed with a complete arsenal from simple revolvers to chemical throwers, but are also forced to genetically modify your DNA to create an even more deadly weapon: you.

When I played Oblivion for more than an hour, I felt weird...Like coming out of a bad acid trip. Maybe it was that music...or maybe it was just me lol..

WTF why is the PC fuckin 10 dollars cheaper... I swear I love XBOX but they need to really do something about those prices on games and on LIVE... like makeing them all 30 or 40 That I don't care but fuckin 50, 60 come the fuck on... I am half way broke after what I just spent. And on live why can't we use our gamerscore to buy shit.. I think that's a terrific idea so that way getting Acivements will be fun...

horrorfangabe 10:41pm, June 24, 2009

wasn't that the original idea for the gamerscore was to use it to buy stuff? whatever happened to that?

killrobot 12:05am, June 26, 2009

you really should be able to redeem your gamer score points for something... at least stupid little things like themes or profile pictures.

lol! Silly me, the title made me think that a Nightmare On Elm Street videogame was being developed! Imagine that! Being able to choose to be either the heroine of the story or the villain, Freddy. Being the heroine the way you play the game is the way the nightmare world shifts. Your character could be trapped in a coma and needs to save the other victims before Freddy becomes too powerful and stuff. A SIlent Hill vibe. Being Freddy you can shift through dreams from the Asylum with all of the rooms as portals and you can play with your victims, ala Manhunt etc, you also must prevent the heroine from saving the victims. That would be awesome but I guess I'm only dreaming.
