When I found out that a Saw game was being released, I was obviously excited and immediately believed it was to be god-like. After reading various news articles and watching the gameplay video, I do wonder if this will be a worthwhile game. Firstly, the graphics look grainy and gameplay unpromising. Also one must ask how exactly the basic plot of Saw - traps etc. - will be emulated into a game. Finally, will this game be able to compete with the likes of Condemned, but more so Manhunt, which is likely to be the closest, in violence and gameplay, to Saw of all horror orientated games. Chances are it won't be excellent as a game but will be extremely interesting to try as Saw fans. Whatever the jury, I, like many others, will buy it (though it’s a shame it does not appear that it will be released on PSP).
