E3: New Castlevania Game! Lords Of Shadow Debuts At E3!

Dead Pixels is fresh off from another day at E3. This afternoon we went to the Konami press conference to check out Saw and Silent Hill games, but we were really in for a surprise. Konami announced a new Castlevania game for the 360/PS3 and is in 3d. Honestly it looks pretty great and I am excited to see what they do with it. More info and trailer after the break...

This game is the first of the series to be developed outside of Japan, by Mercurysteam in Spain. Also Hideo Kojima is overseeing the project. It is a 3d first person open world adventure.

Konami has had trouble in the past adapting Castlevania into 3D, but they said that there are going into a different direction and learned a lot from their mistakes. More info as it comes in, what do you think of the new game?

	SukMyBoomStik 9:58am, June 4, 2009 Oh I am so pumped for this. I've loved the original 4 and all of the "metroid-style" Castlevania games and I loved the first one that came out in the ps2/xbox era. I will be devouring any information that comes out on this one.
