So for months and months we have been waiting to see some screens (and hopefully sometime soon, videos) of the upcoming SAW video game, recently picked up by Konami. Well thanks to a heads up from BD member "JayKah" you can check out a couple screens from the upcoming SAW video game.
The info surfaced on Clanbase.com. Konami also holds the Silent Hill series in their hands, which gives us a positive outlook for the SAW game. Silent Hill being one of the most popular if not the most popular survival horror game out there.
David Daniels, director of marketing for Konami, explains: Because we have leadership in the survival horror genre, we're passionate about it and wanted to find another property on par with 'Silent Hill.' 'Saw' has grossed over $600 million worldwide and sold over 16 million DVDs, so we felt like it was a great opportunity to align ourselves with one of the most successful horror film franchises in history.
The game will give you a nice mix of everything you love about the movies, while having it's own new plot, that will somewhat tie into the movies. How is still unknown. You will take the role of a character who is trapped in and asylum created by Jigsaw, while trying to decide if, and how to help other victims, and probably yourself.
SAW will be released the same time as SAW VI is released in theaters this October. The game will be released on the PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

Maybe we will see more stuff from the game on Konami Gamer's Night this coming April 9th.
Yeah, I have low hopes for this. Sounds like it could get boring really fast, but hey we'll see!
Also, I hope they have new traps and tests. That last screens trap has already been used.. The character is also showing no emotion while trying to get some fuckin death machine off his head.....
it's said this inbetween saw 1 an 2, i dont no if its possible but could that be Obi from Saw 2 in the jaw spilter? cause he looks like him an the clothes are similar aswell...
