The demo for Dead Space is out worldwide at the PlayStation Store and on Xbox Live. So download it and start dismembering today! There's a ton of downloadable content that just came out for the game, upgraded weapons, suits, different skins for them as well. Tons of fun stuff, I played through the game 3 times already, very recommended!
Whatever difficulty you beat the game on, you can play that same difficulty again, but you get to take all your upgraded weapons with you, so you can tear through the game on your next play through and have tons of fun doing it!
