Some of you might not love the idea of us hosting a site for Platinum Dunes, but how can you lose when you're going to get all sorts of crazy goodies starting with the first ever photo from the set of Friday the 13th, which Producers Andrew Form and Brad Fuller are hard at work shooting in Austin, Texas? Seriously?! If you check out the official webspace you can check out Fuller and Form standing with one of Crystal Lake's police cars, before it gets destroyed (wink). Maybe we'll be seeing the new Jason Voorhees soon enough? Only time will tell. Go check out the picture and leave some comments under the post as everyone involved will be reading your opinions! I am not counting on seeing jason anytime soon. They will probably keep that locked up until sometime close to the premier. It's going to be awesome getting updates as the movie goes on though!
Even thow this pic is just a taste, It gets me hyped for whats to come in the coming weeks and months as filming goes on. I cant wait for this movie. This is going to be the best remake ever!
I really can't get excited for this, I mean it's Platinum Dunes who is helming this thing. I'll give it a try when it premieres on HBO. I'm not wasting my money on this travesty.
ahhh man, just checked out the pic and read all about that, BD is great for helping platinum dunes out like they have been, these guys are out there resurrecting a franchise that has potential to continue on for quite some time, out of all the p.dunes productions, THIS is my most anticipated one yet, Jason is one of my favorite characters of horror, and I know the writers will do us good , afterall they wrote freddy vs jason which with the circumstances they succeeded with great great results, this will be something great I just know it, reguardless of peoples negative attitudes, that doesnt matter to me, it's being made love it or hate it, i personally choose to get excited and realize that this idea could be alot alot alot worse than what they are doing, what they are doing is really satisfying to me as a friday fan for all my life, ive seen them all a million times and this one will be destined to be great...no f'n doubt.

Well, I'm already excited about the flick, but that pic did nothing for me. But it's nice to see something. I'm hoping they don't release too many pictures showing too much. As in, I don't want them to spoil shit like most movies seem to do.
This is the film I look to see the most. The of course Wolf Man and My Bloody Valentine. Gonna love this updates as it actually gives me something to gewt online for. I would like to see Jason later before the movie comes out but I have to admit showing early wouldn't hurt. See what Michael was going to look like in the Halloween Remake was agreat it made me want to see the film even more. Although I have a strong feeling this film will pay off a heck of alot more than that one. I'm just Glad there are a few slasher movies coming out.

Maybe it's just my eyes playing tricks on me but is that Jason on the other side of the car, looking through the windows. All you can see is his left eye and shoulder. Or, I don't know, maybe I'm seeing things.
haha me too im just so excited to see friday the 13th back again, i cannot wait to see this movie it is such a long wait til feb 13th 2009 :-D
