Today I'm proud to announce Graphic Content's first retrospective, where we look back and discuss the work in depth. The first series we will be looking at is Robert Kirkman's 'The Walking Dead' published by Image Comics.

I invite you to read with Dubbs and I while we discuss the series deeply and WARNING...there will be copious amounts of spoilers. At the end of the week or beginning of next, we will start to discuss the series through Chapter 1. The Walking Dead is readily available in hard paperback and trades at most book and comic book stores. So get ready, and we'll all make it out alive if we stick together...

I hate to admit this... but I JUST read this series for the entire time. Two weeks ago I bought volume one from Barnes and Noble... and could NOT stop reading! I continued to read and finished issue 63 last week. Honestly, it very well may be my favorite anything zombie of all time. I know that's saying a lot against the plethera of great zombie movies, comics, etc... that exist... but it was just too damn good. The time investment was significantly longer than any zombie movie, yet I would gladly read it over and over again. The numerous plot turns, character depth, and art-work (among many other things...) made this series perfect. Looking forward to the retrospective!
