Coming off the giant story arc with the Re-Animator...Hack/Slash Returns with a new arc: Closer. This issue has some great guest spots if you look closely, cough wolf-man cough toxic avenger cough firebreather...check out more after I get a lozenge....
This issue is kind of a slow burn compared to other issues of Hack/Slash. I think it kinda has to be because it's trying to tie up some loose ends in the previous issues with Cassie's parents and the Nef Lords coming for the Pooch. Also if none of this makes any sense, make sure to pick up a couple volumes of the trade paperbacks, you won't regret it.
