Celluloid Dreams - who brought us INSIDE - will sink its teeth into vampire comedy HELLO DARKNESS, set to begin shooting this fall. Directed by "Quinceanara" writer-director duo Richard Glatzer and Wash Westmoreland, the $15 million film will shoot on location in Newcastle upon Tyne in the U.K. Produced and financed by Celluloid Dreams, "Darkness" has yet to shed light on a finalized cast list for the story about an ordinary working man who becomes a vampire. The film is "a genre-bending, kitchen-sink vampire movie" according to producers, who are hoping to follow up Glatzer and Westmoreland's Sundance Grand Jury Prize and Independent Spirit Award in 2006 with a bloody hit.
