It was revealed via his official website that Anthony Stewart (Buffy the Vampire Slayer) has landed the lead role in Darren Lynn Bousman's Repo! The Genetic Opera, which begins filming today in Toronto, Canada! He joins Alexa Vega, Bill Moseley, Paul Sorvino, Paris Hilton, Nivek Ogre, Terrance Zdunich and Sarah Brightman in Lionsgate's film, hitting theaters April 25. "Repo!" focuses on a cruel entrepreneur who creates genetically perfect organs that everybody needs in 2056, and who is content to send in a repo man if the recipient can't make payments.
and here I thought nabbing Sarah Brightman was a coup for this film, but now they've got the man formerly known as Giles in the lead role. how cool is that?
