Today we had a chance to chat with one of the true "Masters of Horror": Stuart Gordon, director of Re-Animator and From Beyond, about his new film Stuck, which is premiering at the TIFF next month (watch the trailer at BDTV). During our talk, he confirmed that his long-in-the-works adaptation of H.P. Lovecraft's The Thing On The Doorstep is moving forward, with the newly reformed Amicus Productions behind it. It's a good time for Gordon fans, as Stuck is getting great reviews, and From Beyond is finally being released to DVD in its uncut form. Gordon also told us that Beyond was also digitally regraded so that the added footage blends seamlessly with the rest of the film. Look for that DVD on September 11th, and our full interview with Gordon soon.
One of Lovecraft's best stories, I really hope this turns out well.
