I know I wasn't the only one disappointed when the director's cut of Uwe Boll's Alone In The Dark was said to only feature three additional minutes of footage. But that is not the case! Uwe Boll himself has confirmed that the film actually has EIGHT more minutes of previously unseen footage, but that he also removed five, hence only a three minute additional running time. According to Boll, "The new version is only 3 minutes longer than the old one, but totally different edited (less Tara Reid ... more Action!)." Color me intrigued. The new DVD, which also has a new commentary by Boll, drops on September 25th.
Tara Reid was far from the problem with Alone in the Dark. The action scenes in the movie sucked! So adding more doesn't really matter. I would rather have yet another Evil Dead or Halloween DVD released than this pointless junk
This movie is one and a half hours of my life I will never get back.
