According to Davis DVD, Echo Bridge Home Entertainment will release a new widescreen edition of the Jamie Lee Curtis slasher Prom Night on October 2nd. No word yet if it'll be a proper anamorphic transfer this go-around, but one can always hope. Retail is $6.99. Now, granted Prom Night isn't the best of the era, but any DVD that RETAILS for less than the cost of a damn McDonald's Angus Third Combo can't be worth much. Hopefully I'll be proven wrong. Either way, now I want one of those combos.
well, i don't have it, so the 6.99 price will seal me getting it. sad, the no extras thing. this movie has one of the best stalker/slasher chases in it.
Yeah I guess only certain areas have the Angus Third... they are delicious. But pricey. I keep buying them in hopes McDs will see their popularity and roll it out to the other states.
