Actually, a contraption could be made that can slice through the head. It would be a VERY impressive device but not impossible. I am looking forward to Saw IV, since it would appear to be the ONLY Horror movie in October.

Holy fuck! The first 3 were fucken sick and this one is looking as amazing as the others! This movie can't come out fast enough! One of the few good movies around lately! Fucken right!

You know what, judging by how horribly bloody his chinand mouth are opposed to the rest of his head and how crooked his teeth seem to be...I'd bet he has to chew off that panel in front of his mouth or something along those lines to deactivate the trap.

I think that the blades are held in place for a certain amount of time. But until that time is up, they are locked solid. And the man has to lean forward, pushing his face into these blades, and use his nose or tongue to switch a button on that little panel (I'm guessing when time's up the blades will snap shut like scissors and his head will be no longer.)

I agree with "ilovedanslisp" or watever their name is. I think he has to do something to that panel in front of him before time is up. OH And I think that Amanda will end up Blood Related to Jigsaw or Jill or maybe one of the other victims. Maybe she'll end up as a daughter or something. I gotta go back and watch them and see if they mention her "family" in the first three. Plus we have to see the connection with Obi in Jigsaw's surgery flashback while he was walking with Jill thru the park. Obi walked right by them, in the unlikely event that you guys missed that, or did u? Either way, I think I got this shit figued out. Oct. 26th: GAME ON.
