Tad Hilgenbrink (Amusement) and Autumn Reeser (The O.C.) topline Warner's direct-to-video sequel, The Lost Boys: The Tribe, which revolves around surfing vampires in Southern California, according to STYD. They also reveal that the vampire-slayin' Frog Bros. - Corey Feldman and Jamison Newlander - are indeed returning for the next "Lost" adventure...and so is Corey Haim (!), reprising his role as Sam Emerson. Angus Sutherland - Keifer's half-brother (and son of Donald Sutherland and Francine Racette) - will star as this film's big bad vamp. Lensing begins, with P.J. Pesce (From Dusk Till Dawn 3) at the helm, a week from Monday.
Ok now this is pretty cool and I too am looking forward to this. I just wish it got a theatrical release now and it wasn't about Surfing Vampires.Still it can be seen as an actual sequel now
Wow...way to grasp at straws..."The 2 coreys" must need some money to pay for rehab or some sh*i, guess it was either this or another celebrity reality show......big box office $$$ for this sequel no doubt...
I just think it's funny how they had a clip on here about a month ago from there reality show, where Haim is crying that they didn't offer him a role and Feldman pretty much calling it a garbage straight to video movie and that he turned it down. LMAO! Now all of the sudden. They're on board? Hmmmm...pretty convenient if you ask me.
Hopefully it is cheesy. That is pretty much what the Lost Boys movie is. Cheesy. That's what makes it great. I mean, with lines like: "This is just a cover; we're dedicated to a higher purpose. We're fighters for truth, justice, and the American way" or "So what's the rush? You're chasing that girl aren't you? Come on, admit it. I'm at the mercy of your sex glands, bud" makes it the epitome of cheese.
You missed the part where I said un intentionaly cheesy.
THe original movie played with comedy a bit but I wouldn't say it was cheesy.
