Genius Products and The Weinstein Company will release 1408 (review) on DVD October 2nd, according to Davis DVD. The supernatural thriller, adapted from a short story by Stephen King and starring John Cusack, will be available in an exclusive unrated cut in anamorphic widescreen and Dolby Digital 5.1. We don't have full details on extras yet, but expect deleted scenes, an alternate ending, a featurette or two and more. We'll let you know more soon. Retail will be $29.99.
This movie sucked! The end was way to predictable. It wasn't scary at all and I almost fell asleep. I'd rather kill myself than ever watch this POS ever again!
