Bold Films is climbing into The Hole, buying the horror spec by Mark L. Smith (Vacancy) and setting it up as a co-production between Bold and Benderspink, according to Variety. The story centers on two brothers who discover a mysterious hole in the basement that leads to their worst nightmares. "The Hole" will be produced by Michelle Litvak and David Lancaster. Exec produceers will be Bold co-prexy Gary Michael Walters along with Chris Bender and JC Spink.
Sounds kind of like The Gate. Now that we know it's being shot in 3-D, here's hoping for some great monsters and the fun atmosphere that The Gate had.
