San Diego Comic Con Clip From 'Saw IV' Online Now!
Thursday, August 9, 2007

If you click here you can watch the scene from Lionsgate's Saw IV that was shown at last month's San Diego Comic Con. The clip features two dudes - one who's been blinded and the other with his mouth sewn shut - chained together with some sort of device between them that's sure to cause some pain. Watch for the return of Jigsaw (?) in theaters October 26.

The clip clearly hasn't been put through the post production process. It way to dark, and sounds are missing. But even with that, the clip is still disappointing. I know that this isn't the clip they originally wanted to show, but it doesn't make me want to go see the film like the Saw III clip shown at last year's Comic Con. I'm still going to see the film, I'm a Saw fan, but this clip is no where near as exciting as last year's. I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

it looks ok.. nothing surprising but nothing ridiculous. its just another saw movie.. i woned if this one is going to be different that the first three, which gave me the same boring experience each time.

I'm a Saw fan, and I found this clip entertaining. I feel they still have a few miles left on the Saw franchise.

That's it? that's been viewable for ages i saw it on YouTube right after the comic-con. and as for it... i think its kinda pathetic. especially the make up on the guys eyes and mouth. They could of done way better than this if you ask me. plus the fighting secenes (especially when he kcicks him) is way pathetic. and it has no gore... i swear i've seen inbred rabbits more grusome and scarrier plus theres no tape. bad quality and in a mausoleum? i mean WTF?

plus its unfair on the other guy because hes blind. i mean sure it's an opperation for team work but i just think it was a little to far fectched.

Maybe we just need to see it in context to the rest of the film. But as it is it makes no sense. They arn't told their crimes, they arn't told any rules, and the whole trap seems really random compared to the old ones. Most of the old traps there was one way to live or die, in this one there could have been so many outcomes with all the weapons on the floor and depending on who opened thier stitches first etc. But im also thinking we'll understand it all alot better once the rest of the stories been laid out! ....i hope! lol

i'm sure the guy who escapes will find a tape recorder. he was probably the one meant to escape. the clip was fine. it was unfinished though.

I've seen it before and I find it's decent. I like how they have no way to communicate with eachother but their key to excape is located on the head of the other test subject. Y'all have to remember that this is the opening scene, which in every other Saw movie has been irrelevant to the rest of the movie.

i have a feeling this isnt going to be in the movie because i mean thats stupid with this scene bad editing the sound is way off and the lighting is horrible like a bootlag movie and plus why would they give a 4 minute scene when most trailers are only 40 to 1.20 seconds long.in my opinion the director or who ever did this is maybe trying to through us off or i dunno.

Apparently this isn't the first scene of the movie. They wanted to show the first scene (which shows how jigsaws still involved) but they were told it was too shocking for some reason so they used this as a last minuet thing. Probably why it's so badly cut at the moment. I wish they'd have shown us what they wanted to though!

Okay let's clear one thing up... firstly i'll admit i didn't like this scene at all but for the people saying it's not like jigsaw i don't agree entirely. the point of the game is to see how much you will shed to stay alive so like they would of had to rip their eyes open kinda thing and the other guy would of had ti rip his mouth open... so they would of been able to communicate so they both would of lived. and as for a tape recorder i don't see how they would of added one... if they put a recorder in the room the they would both hear but like jigsaw is trying to get rid of their main primary sences if you catch my drift. so if they want to stay alive they have to rip open the stiches kinda thing.

or maybe im wrong and they'll just find it after they have their big show down

chrisby
11:54pm, August 10, 2007

either way if u ask me i reckon theirs only one way to really make saw go down in history and thats by Jill and dr. gordons wife.

i know im talking to much but ill tell u my idea anyways.

i reckon they should have it that john meets Jill in a craftig course, they fall in love but in the process Jill is kinda insane so she makes him do tests for her love, like kill people that have done wrong by her or something. which john does. then he runs off because he couldnt commit to her like that, but when john gets cancer he takes from what hes done with Jill and puts it in a game. which makes Jill the original Jigsaw.

chrisby

well kinda, anyways in the crafting course Jill would be there for reabilatation because shes insane where she would learnt how to make the traps and billy and stuff.

chrisby
12:10am, August 11, 2007

and then for the Gordon family i reckon they should have a room where mrs gorgon and her little girl are inside this cage while the new jigsaw walks around them and stuff banging on the cage, with a box in the middle of the room that she has to open. but when she does theres a foot (her husbands)and a gun and she shoots the gu outside to find out it was her husband dr gordon which was trapped in a jigsaw mask and stuff. and he had to play a game to get his wife back.

Well i bet this was the only clip they could show without getting in major trouble by the MPAA

And No, this isnt the first scene, they couldnt show the first scene of the movie, thats what they planned on doing originally.

Jill isnt "Jigsaw". John Fuckin Kramer is the one and only. I just believe she (Jill) is an innocent victim in this game (lol) and will show appreciation for life.
