According to an anonymous source at Film Jerk, Lionsgate's The Eye remake, which stars Alba (video interview) as a blind violinist who finds she is seeing far more than she should after an experimental surgery restores her sight, will start twelve to fourteen days of re-shoots in Vancouver starting next Thursday, August 9. The reshoots will be directed by Patrick Lussier, longtime film editor who also directed "Dracula 2000" and its sequels! In addition, Bloody-Disgusting has learned exclusively that Renee Zellweger is back in Canada for some pick up shots for her horror film Case 39, which hits theaters next February.
The Eye remake is screwed. I just hate it when they decide to make reshoots and the studio hires another director to finish it.
